What Is Chaldean Numerology?

Chaldean numerology is a name applied to a family of practices that assign letters a value from 1 to 8, treat 9 as sacred and generally unassigned in the alphabet, and then pay unusual attention to the compound total of a name — 23, 24, 26 — before any reduction to a single digit.
