Every spoken chant is a breathing practice in disguise. Long phrases can train a longer out-breath, which many people find settling. They can also train strain if you perform a holy shortness of air.

If you are dizzy, stop. If you have a condition of lungs or heart, this page is not your clinician. The Body room's counted breath is a simpler door. Let the phrase fit the breath you actually have, not the breath you saw in a video.

Air is not a metaphor. It is the practice's floor.
