The slogan is tidy: uccha, therefore arrival. Charts are not tidy.
The slogan
Exaltation is one of the classical dignities. Within Jyotish, a graha in the sign of its exaltation is often read as able to act in a purified or intensified way. Popular speech upgraded 'able' to 'successful'. Success has employers, bodies, and centuries. A dignity table does not.
The more nuanced weather
An exalted Mars can be clean courage. It can also be a person who treats every room as a campaign. An exalted Jupiter can be wisdom. It can also be unstoppable advice. Practitioners still use dignity. CapSage will use it as flavour, not as a trophy.
A well-tuned instrument can still play the wrong piece.
Read the house, the aspects, the dasha, the life. Then enjoy the exaltation as a colour. Do not frame it.

Thematic company
Readers exploring this theme may also find these interesting. Similar weather across traditions is not proof that one system explains another.
