Acceptance says: this is the weather, and I will walk in it, and I would still like a kinder climate. Resignation says: weather is all there is, and wanting is embarrassing. Spiritual language often blesses the second by accident.
Willow broods on unfairness; Wild Rose shrugs. Acceptance can include a no. If your 'acceptance' cannot include a preference, check whether you have just become polite despair.
A pulse is a preference. Keep it.
