Cream papers and lamplight on an archive desk

Rahu is a gifted passenger. Rahu is a dangerous driver. The difference is whether anyone in the car is still checking the road.

Ambition, novelty, foreign rooms, technology, social reach — these are Rahu's favourite scenery. They are not automatically illusions. They become illusion when the next unprecedented thing is required before the current thing has a floor. Status hunger is allowed. Status hunger as a personality is expensive.

What to actually do

  • Write the fact-check before the announcement. Rahu hates this and that is the point.
  • Delay impulsive decisions by one sleep unless safety is involved.
  • Name the shortcut out loud. If it still looks like craft, proceed. If it only looks like speed, wait.
  • Give the appetite a craft, not a new self. A skill survives the upgrade. A rebrand often does not.
Rahu rarely asks whether more is necessary. Install that question on the dashboard.

Obsession is a climate. If it is eating sleep, money, or people, get a human involved — this archive is not a clinic and not a financial adviser. Foreign opportunities can be real; so can a hunger that only needs elsewhere as a feeling. Check the visa, the contract, the body. Then let Rahu look out of the window. You still steer.

Also in the house

Readers exploring this theme may also find these interesting. Similar weather across traditions is not proof that one system explains another.
