Rahu: hunger, smoke, the unprecedented

The north node pulls toward what has not been done. Appetite is not a destiny.

Incense smoke in copper light

Rahu is not a planet you can point to in the sky as a body. It is a node, a crossing, a hunger. Foreignness, smoke, the unprecedented, the thing the family did not model. In a chart it marks where appetite outruns the old map.

Popular astrology makes Rahu a villain or a hack for fame. Both are lazy. Rahu in the tenth can invent a public life. Rahu in the fourth can make home feel like a country you have not entered. Rahu with the Moon can flood the mind with weather that is not quite yours.

Influence without diagnosis

When we speak of charisma, cult weather, mass hunger, we stay on this side of psychiatry. A chart cannot diagnose. It can note a climate of appetite and ask what the appetite serves. That is already more honest than a stereotype.
