How to Work with Mercury Retrograde without Blaming Your Wifi

Mercury retrograde has been charged with crimes for which there is very little evidence. The typo, the missed train, the argument about a text. Mercury is a small planet with an excellent publicist for chaos.

Within Jyotish, retrograde (vakri) is a condition of motion, not a personality and not a weak graha by default. Some practitioners read it as a turning of attention backward: review, repeat, a second draft. That is a usable climate. It is not a curse on technology.

A small protocol

• Review the letter before you send it. This is also good in direct motion.
• Back up the work. Planets do not replace USB habits.
• Clarify the appointment. Mercury likes a second sentence.
• Check the name, the date, the attachment. Then stop checking.

If it would have been a mistake in July, it is still a mistake in retrograde. The wifi has its own life.

Overthinking every decision is a neighbouring situation. Do not add a sky-story to a mind that already buys extra tickets. Use the retrograde, if you use it at all, as an excuse to slow the send — not as an alibi for every human fumble.
