Why Am I Suddenly Questioning Everything I Believed?

The sentences that used to close the day no longer close. A teacher looks smaller. A book that was a floor is now a pamphlet. People call this a crisis of faith. Sometimes it is just a season in which the ninth house is being weather, not furniture.

What the sky is often doing

The ninth is dharma, the long road, the father, fortune as meaning, the teacher. Jupiter is at home there. Practitioners often read a Rahu-Ketu transit or dasha across the 3/9 or 9/3 as a period of philosophical restlessness: the inherited path looks too small, the foreign path looks like oxygen, then like a shop. Ketu in the ninth can look like unhooking from doctrine. Rahu can look like appetite for a bigger story. Traditional notes mention pilgrimage, study, a change of guru. They do not mention that questioning is sometimes the dharma, not the failure of it.

A belief that cannot survive a question was a costume. A question that cannot land is also a costume.

This is not a command to leave a living tradition. If you already inhabit a path, the work is probably there. If you are only allergic to certainty you used to borrow, sit in the not-knowing without auditioning a new pulpit every week. Astrology may describe the climate. It should not become the next belief you cannot put down.
