The nodes spend about a year and a half in a sign, moving retrograde through the zodiac. When they cross natal planets, appetite and release change rooms. Eclipse seasons cluster around this axis.

Do not treat a nodal return as a personality reboot. Treat it as a front moving through a known landscape. The natal chart is the floor. The transit is weather.
