Myth: Saturn Is Bad
Shani is time. Time is not a villain. It is the only weather that finishes anything.

Saturn is not bad. Saturn is slow, and we have confused slow with cruel.
The slogan
Malefic, in the old vocabulary, names a planet that can cut. It does not name a cartoon villain. Within Jyotish, Shani is delay, weight, labour, the harvest after attendance. Popular speech heard 'malefic' and ordered a black outfit.
The more nuanced weather
Saturn periods can coincide with loss. They can also coincide with the first honest job, the bone that finally sets, the skill that stopped being a hobby. Practitioners read Sade Sati as a climate, not a prosecution. CapSage will too.
Saturn does not hate you. Saturn also does not care about your excuses.
Read Saturn through the houses. Keep the malefic as a technical word. Leave the villain in the folklore shop.
