Mars is hired as the fighter and then left in a peacetime office. Initiative, courage, heat, competition, the will to start, the boundary that has a spine — these are the useful jobs. Physical action is in the list. So is the clean no. When there is nothing useful to cut, the heat does not clock off. It looks for a room.
Heat will find a window
Possible expressions, none of them a diagnosis: irritability over small queues. Restlessness when life is actually fine. Conflict-seeking because a quarrel at least has a shape. Competition that needs an opponent more than it needs a craft. Or — the adult version — disciplined action: a sport, a project that can take a cut, a kitchen that gets cooked in, a boundary said once. Traditional Mangala is not a villain. Malefic, in the old vocabulary, names a planet that can cut. Cutting is how surgery works. It is also how furniture gets ruined.
Mars in a chart without an obvious battlefield will still look for heat. Better if you choose the battlefield before the week does. A peacetime Mars is not a broken Mars. It is unused weather. Unused weather looks for a window, a person, a comment section. CapSage will not tell you to pick a fight. We will say: give the heat a job that is not a face. Heat without a task is not a moral failure. It is a graha doing overtime in an empty office.
A Mars with no enemy will either pick a fight or pick a craft. The chart does not decide which. The week often does.
If you are restless in a fine life, that situation has a page. Mangala as the cut is the portrait. The Mars hub holds the rest. Then give the heat a job that is not a person. Choose the window before the week chooses one for you.
