What Does Grounding Actually Mean?

Grounding, in popular talk, is a cocktail: earthing sheets, visualisation, a command to 'come back'. CapSage uses it more plainly. After shock, after scroll, after a row: feel the weight of the body, name the room, drink water. That is grounding. The planet will survive without your bare feet on its marketing.

If a tradition has a richer cosmology of earth, it may keep it. We will not steal it as a wellness extra. We will keep the animal fact: a body that can locate itself is less likely to believe every story the mind is selling.
