A Debilitated Planet Is Not a Life Sentence
Neecha is a strain, not a eulogy. Extra work in a domain is not the same as being forbidden to live there.

Neecha collects despair the way exaltation collects swagger. One glyph, one adjective, and a life is supposedly over. Weak planet, therefore failure. The sentence is tidy. Lives are not.
Debilitation, in the classical grammar, is a graha in the sign where its nature is considered strained — working uphill, less fluent, sometimes louder because it has to be. Traditional texts can be blunt. Blunt is not a career forecast, a marriage forecast, or a personality. It is a note about friction in a particular significator.
Context does the real work. House placement can give a strained planet a useful job: a debilitated Mars in a house of effort is not the same story as a debilitated Mars sitting on the lagna with nothing to cut but the native. Planetary support — a friend aspecting, a strong lord, a Navamsa that does not repeat the strain — changes the weather. So does maturity. Some grahas simply take longer to learn their craft in a given chart. Lived expression is the only audit that matters, and it will not sit still for a slogan.
Cancellation is not a magic trick
Neecha bhanga and related modification principles exist because even the old books knew one word was not enough. Cancellation is often oversold on the internet as an eraser. It is better read as a complication: the strain is still in the room, and something else in the room is also speaking. Practitioners look. CapSage will look. We will not print a pardon from a formula, and we will not print a life sentence either.
A bent instrument can make a truer note than a trophy. It still has to be played.
If this is your fear, read the planet’s essay, then the rest of the chart, then the week you are actually in. Extra work in a domain sometimes produces skill. Failure, when it happens, has more authors than a sign. Weak planet is not a diagnosis. It is a weather report with the heating turned down.

Thematic company
Readers exploring this theme may also find these interesting. Similar weather across traditions is not proof that one system explains another.

Myth: Debilitated Means Failure
Neecha is a strain, not a verdict. Some of the more interesting lives are played on a bent instrument.

An Exalted Planet Is Not a Golden Ticket
Dignity is capacity, not a CV stamp. A planet can be powerful without making every area it touches comfortable.

Solution
What to Do with a 'Bad' Placement
Stop treating one graha in one room as a sentence. The rest of the chart, and the rest of the week, still exist.
