Should You Change Your Name Because of Numerology?
Almost never as a first move. A name is a life, a legal object, and a set of people who already know how to call you.

Direct answer: not because a page told you to.
The slogan
Name-change culture treats a digit as a renovation permit. In Pythagorean and Chaldean practice, names are mapped to numbers, and some compounds have reputations. Traditional interpreters sometimes suggest adjustments. Suggestion is not a court order.
The nuance
A name is how your mother calls you, how a bank finds you, how a child finds you in a shop. Changing it can be a genuine new chapter — marriage, safety, art, a life that was misnamed. Those are human reasons. 'My total was 16' is a symbolic reason, and it should lose to the human ones unless you already wanted the change.
A name is a relationship. A number is a sketch of a relationship.
What to do instead
Read the Chaldean compound as a mood-map. If the mood is useful — less theatre, more structure — practise the mood under the name you have. If you still want a new name, choose one you can answer to at 7 a.m. Then tell the people who love you, not just the calculator.

Can Changing a Name Change Your Life?
Yes — because people and institutions respond to names. No — because a digit is not a wand.

Can Numerology Predict Events?
Not in the way a calendar predicts Tuesday. It can describe a pattern. Patterns are not appointments.
